COURSE DESCRIPTION
Mezzanine and preferred equity often fill the gap between common equity and senior loans in commercial real estate projects. They have some elements of equity, some of debt. They must be structured to be allowable under mortgage documents as quasi-debt and yet provide the incentives of equity. This program will provide you with a real world guide to structuring mezz loans and preferred equity in commercial real estate.
